The 1st of July 2025 marked the anniversary of the passing our beloved partner, Stephen Peter Grimes. Stephen was an experienced Senior Solicitor at Pishon Gold Solicitors from 2018 and worked with many of our clients on Conveyancing and Commercial Property matters. He had a particular knack for getting to the heart of the matter.

Leasehold reform – what is happening?

The Government will reform leasehold tenure and make buying/extending leases “easier, faster, fairer and cheaper”. Around 4.5 million people could benefit from the planned reform of legislation which will give the right to extend leases to 990 years and pay a peppercorn (token) ground rent.
